Urbeez accompanies the launch of Frichti in Brussels for 100% green delivery
The French brand Frichti is setting up shop in the Belgian capital and opting for eco-friendly delivery by partnering with the startup Urbeez.
In recent days, you may have seen Frichti's posts appearing on your social media feeds. The brand is indeed preparing for its imminent arrival in Brussels. Starting June 29, the capital will be enriched with a new delivery solution for satisfying cravings. Launched almost 6 years ago in Paris, Frichti offers homemade meals as well as groceries to fill the fridge. All products are 100% fresh, local, and seasonal. To accompany its launch, it partners with the startup Urbeez, which offers 100% electric urban logistics. The service will be available 7 days a week, from 9 am to 10 pm, in the central and southern areas of Brussels (Ixelles, Etterbeek, Saint-Gilles, Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort, and Auderghem).
ChatGPT "We are delighted to accompany the launch of Frichti in the capital. Delivery by electric bikes or scooters represents a non-polluting solution and, above all, without noise nuisance," says Angelino Capretti, founder of Urbeez.
500% growth since the fundraising in December last year
This figure is explained in part by the increasing demand for carbon-neutral delivery solutions. Urbeez responds to this by offering utility vehicles of all types: cargo bikes, scooters, as well as utility vans, all 100% electric. The Belgian startup already collaborates with major retail players such as MediaMarkt, Brico, Efarmz, as well as micro-mobility actors like Pony and Dott.
"Meal delivery is not new for Urbeez. We already work with Sushi Shop on a daily basis, a relationship that is now expanding nationwide," announces Angelino Capretti.
As a reminder, in December 2020, Urbeez raised 2.5 million euros from investors specialized in logistics to support its nationwide deployment.
"With Urbeez, we aim to restore nobility to logistics by improving the services of a sector in search of innovation," states Angelino Capretti, founder of Urbeez.
